چکیده
This paper describes a new methodology to be utilized in assessing the level of coordination difficulty on the basis of the actual terrain profile between IMT-Advanced (fixed and mobile users) and FSS (Fixed satellite services) for a specific site. This methodology can be use to asses the effectiveness of mitigation techniques based on the use of directional antennas, which takes into account the actual shielding effect by terrain profile and clutter losses associated with the artificial objects. Considering a shielding effect on the signal propagate within proper separation distance used to improve the current methodology. Mathematical approach was simulated by Matlab and results confirmed by ICS Telecomm software for more specifications. Eventually, the results had been summarized in planned methodology to serve regulators and frequency management modulators. Key-Words: Interference, FSS, IMT-Advanced, different environments and area ratio methodology.

Spectrum Emission Mask for Coexistence between Future WiMAX and Existing Fixed Wireless Access Systems
This paper introduces a new coexistence study of the future WiMAX system and existing fixed wireless access (FWA) systems and investigates its feasibility. Spectrum emission mask as an interference mitigation technique is used as well as interference to noise ratio (I/N) of -6 dB as one of standard sharing criterion value at FWA systems recommended by international telecommunication union radio...
متن کاملSpectral and Geographical Domain Coordination for IMT-Advanced Compatibility with Point-to-Point Fixed Service
Frequency intersystem interference is a phenomenon caused by coexistence of multiple wireless systems in same or adjacent areas. Consequently, frequency sharing studies play a very important rule in order to use limited spectrum resources efficiently. Because an International Mobile Telecommunication-Advanced (IMT-Advanced) systems are going to use 3500 MHz according to World Radiocommunication...

متن کاملRECOMMENDATION ITU-R M.1641 A methodology for co-channel interference evaluation to determine separation distance from a system using high-altitude platform stations to a cellular system to provide IMT-2000 service within the boundary of an administration
Annex 1 describes a methodology for co-channel interference evaluation from a HAPS base station and cellular base stations to a cellular mobile station to provide IMT-2000. The C/I ratio is used as a criterion to set separation distance between a HAPS system and a cellular system. For evaluating the interference within a cellular system, a simplified extended version of Hata’s model is applied....
